We Are Rooted in Christ

Father, you have rooted your Church in the person of Jesus Christ. Our faith is in Him...
[My prayer is...] That we look upon the needs of others and put on the compassion of Jesus Christ.
That we put to death all arrogance and pride and put on the humility of Jesus Christ.
That we be set free from anger and put on the patience of Jesus Christ.
That we leave behind all bitterness and resentment and put on the forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
That in all we do or say, we be filled with the love of Jesus Christ.
That we pass unharmed through the hour of death and put on the glory of Jesus Christ.
