Forgive me, Lord...
If I have failed to accept my children as they really are
If I have not been content simply to be along side them in their littleness and their weakness, their frustration and their depression...
If I have tried to improve them and organize them "for their own good," when I was, in fact, trying to turn them into copies of me (or the person I would like to be).
Please help me constantly appreciate the uniqueness of who they are and love them...
Forgive me if I have judged them and stifled them, devaluing them.
Forgive me, Lord.
